Pink and pretty! Perfect for a little girl.

The second design is also pink and pretty, but I prefer the first one. The second would be better expanded to queen size.

Very interesting design … impressive, even if I do say so myself.

I like the second one too, but my favourite for today is the first one.

I have to admit that this collection of blocks grew when I drew a leaf which looked more like a ribbon. The collection grew like topsy and so has the collection of quilt designs.

Love the centre block of the quilt design above.

The title of today’s post indicates that it is a new project file. It is not new, and a couple of designs were shared early this century!

I have actually made a quilt using some of these fan designs, but still love playing with the designs, colours and placement of teh blocks in different layouts.

I originally called the series of blocks in this project file Tangled Ribbons after I rejected Knotted Ribbons. Still not happy, but love the block designs.

I don’t have a favourite today, but I should make a note for myself to remind me that not all beds are queen size which need a square quilt.
